Avid is a ritual-building digital workshop designed for readers who crave stable, grounded, sustainable routine.
This workshop explores the root of how and why we read, and as an avid reader I have found it to be very helpful in committing to other daily rituals and acts of self care.
This workshop is for readers who:
+ seek more ritual
+ want a digital detox
+ would like to connect with their reading in a deep and meaningful way
GIVE AVID AS A GIFT:
HOW GIFTING AVID WORKS
When you check out, you will send a note to me that includes the name and email of the person you are gifting this workshop to. If you need your gift to be a surprise and/or want the email to be sent at a specific time, let me know and I will make sure this happens. Recipients will receive a nicely designed message giving them the details of how to sign up. Recipients are allowed to sign up for any month they prefer. The gift does not expire.
Recipients will receive a weekly email with a letter from me, as well as 7 writing prompts to be completed throughout the week.
These letters introduce a theme for each week, which is what they will be contemplating as they carry out their daily reading. Each prompt is designed to help them dive deeper into their own practice, and to fully understand their own personal style of commitment to their reading practice.
As we move through the month, I will suggest a number of ways to start incorporating other acts of self care into their life. These are gentle suggestions that are focused on sustainability in the hopes of creating lifelong rituals.
I will schedule a 1x1 consultation at the end of the 4 weeks to discuss what they have learned about their own style of commitment and ritual. From there, I will send them a personalized guide to incorporating ritual into their life based on their own habits and reading routine.
*they are NOT required to read or finish 2 books for this workshop. I have found that with a daily reading practice, most participants read 2 books. some read (or listen to) more, and some read less. it is not a race and it is not about reading as much as possible. it is simply about a daily commitment.
